Real World Bad Guys Don't Think They Are Bad

If you can imagine that Superman's classic arch-nemesis Lex Luthor isn't that far away from a Donald Trump, or perhaps even an Osama bin Laden, you can see that the quote-unquote villains of superhero comic-books are often exaggerated and one-dimensional caricatures of people in the real world. People who believe, like you and I do, that we are correct in our beliefs and our actions. People who rationalize horrifying actions to just continue living at all. The difference often lies in how we take responsibility for those actions.
Dr. Donald Warren
The primary antagonist of Stanley Ross, a.k.a. The Chip, is one Dr. Donald Warren, a man who'll stop at nothing to regain what he believes is rightfully his. What does or doesn't belong to him is a point of contention between himself, Stanley, and Stanley's Uncle Jeff. Warren coordinated the removal (or kidnapping) of Stanley at a young age, and made him the subject of medical experimentation (a lab-rat/prisoner) for seven years. And all this after years earlier attempting to force Jeff to reconstruct research lost in an explosion that cost Jeff the use of his legs simply so it could be recovered as 'university property'. Warren claims that all findings and research done on his property becomes his property.

Like all the real 'villains' of our world, if you had a conversation with Dr. Donald Warren, you would meet a man who believes everything he's done has been in the right and thus operates in the open, hiding in plain sight. And you couldn't believe what he is capable of behind closed doors...
